Leading with Wellbeing

Meet Our Lead Sponsor for Elevate: Your Health, Givenwell

When we began planning Elevate: Your Health, we knew we wanted this event to be more than just a day of inspiration. We wanted to spark real change,  in how we look after ourselves, in how we talk about wellness, and in how our workplaces support the women who show up every day and give their all. That’s why we’re so thrilled to welcome Givenwell as our Lead Sponsor for this event,  because they’re not just talking about workplace wellbeing. They’re actively transforming it. Givenwell is a New Zealand-grown startup that’s challenging the outdated, one-size-fits-all approach to employee wellbeing. Their platform allows organisations to gift their teams personalised wellness tokens, credits employees can spend on whatever wellbeing looks like for them. Mental health support? Covered. Fitness? Yep. Mindfulness apps, insurance, nutrition consultations, and more? All there. Because here’s the thing: no two people are the same, and neither are their wellness needs. What works for a mum juggling three kids and a side hustle might look completely different from what a young professional needs to prevent burnout or stay active. Givenwell understands that. Their model is scalable, inclusive, and most importantly... it’s human.

At the centre of this movement is Jonny Mirkin, Founder & CEO of Givenwell, and someone who gets it on a personal level. After experiencing burnout himself, Jonny saw how shallow many workplace wellbeing initiatives really were. Wellness weeks that didn’t address real stress. Perks that didn’t meet people’s actual needs. A culture of hustle with no pause button. So, he set out to change it. With a background in business and a drive to put people first, Jonny created Givenwell as a way to offer tangible, personalised tools to employees across industries. It’s not about ticking boxes, it’s about creating a culture where people feel genuinely supported, where mental health is prioritised, and where businesses thrive because their people do.

When we first connected with Jonny and Givenwell’s Strategic Well-being Manager Olivia Marshall, it felt like such a natural fit. At Elevate, we are constantly talking about how to do business and life in a way that’s sustainable, empowering, and honest. That means recognising that we can’t show up fully in our work if we’re running on empty. It means creating spaces, at events, in communities, and yes, in the workplace, where wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword but a lived reality. Givenwell’s mission mirrors our own: empowering people to back themselves, care for themselves, and thrive in all areas of life. And they’re doing it in a way that makes sense, combining strategy with soul, data with empathy, business with heart. So what does this mean for Elevate: Your Health? It means that our event is backed by a business that’s walking the talk. It means attendees will get to hear from a founder who understands burnout, recovery, and what it takes to build systems that actually work for people. And it means we can continue to create events where women feel seen, supported, and energised to bring those same values back into their lives and workplaces.

If you’re a business owner, team leader, or someone who’s been dreaming of a better way to support the people around you, don’t miss your chance to learn more about Givenwell. This is what the future of work can look like when we lead with care, clarity, and connection.

We’re honoured to have them as our Lead Sponsor, and can’t wait to introduce you to their story and work at Elevate: Your Health.

Because when wellbeing isn’t just something you recover into, but something you’re supported in every day, that’s when real, lasting change begins.
